Lovely Lisa Chappell
Last updated June 17, 2005
Lisa Chappell was born on
Like most actors, Lisa started out in the theatre, but she later moved on to TV. Her breakthrough role was in McLeod’s Daughters, for which she won two Logie Awards, one of which that was silver. She was also nominated for two Gold Logies. And to think that she originally auditioned for a guest role!
After almost three years as Claire McLeod, Lisa decided to move on. After ten months away from acting, she reappeared in July 2004 as crooked cop Megan Walsh in Stingers, a recurring role. That is, until the show was axed at the end of that year.
Lisa has also been working on her musical talents, and is recording an album.
In her personal life, Lisa is married to Chris Taylor, an artist whom she met at her McLeod’s co-star Rachael Carpani’s 21st birthday in 2001. The couple married soon after.
